Marking a significant milestone in the history of D P Infotech (Private) Limited, the company opened a Development Centre Jaffna this morning.Located at  the DPMC Regional Office premises on No. 61, Palaly Road, Jaffna, the DPIN Development Centre is dedicated to nurturing future technologists in the North, particularly by offering internships to candidates from the region.

At an auspicious time, Mr. Rohana Dissanayake, Group Chairman and Managing Director, officiated the opening of the Centre in the presence of directors and senior management from Group Companies.

Concurrently, the David Pieris Group launched a Seed Funding Programme called ‘Thalir powered by David Pieris Group’ to assist Northern entrepreneurs who aspire to achieve great heights but lack initial funding. This project is the first of a series that would be implemented island wide.At the event and as  part of the Northern Development Project, student who have excellent and topped their batches at the Jaffna University xxx faculties were recognised and feted. 

Academics from  the Jaffna University, representatives from civil society, and government officials also participated in this ceremony.
